Executive Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Trainee to join our dedicated IT Security department in Gurugram, Haryana. This is an entry-level, permanent role designed for freshers who are passionate about digital defense, threat hunting, and infrastructure protection.

As a Trainee, you will move beyond theoretical concepts to work alongside seasoned security professionals, gaining hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities and neutralizing modern cyber threats.

Core Responsibilities & Learning Path

Under the mentorship of our senior security team, you will contribute to the following mission-critical areas:

  • Network Monitoring: Assisting in the real-time surveillance of networks and systems to detect security breaches or anomalous activity.

  • Security Deployment: Supporting the implementation and configuration of essential defense tools, including Firewalls, Antivirus (EPP/EDR), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).

  • Incident Response: Helping analyze security incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and preparing comprehensive technical reports.

  • Vulnerability Management: Participating in active vulnerability assessments and organizational risk analysis to preemptively patch security gaps.

  • Governance & Documentation: Assisting in the creation of internal security guidelines, SOPs, and compliance documentation.

  • Threat Intelligence: Staying at the forefront of the industry by researching the latest hacking techniques, zero-day vulnerabilities, and global security best practices.

Technical Competencies & Skills

Foundational Requirements:

  • Networking & OS: A strong basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), operating systems (Linux/Windows), and core IT security concepts.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail—critical for spotting subtle security anomalies.

  • Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with broader IT teams to ensure all applications follow strict security protocols.

Preferred "Good-to-Have" Skills:

  • Familiarity with industry-standard security tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, or Splunk.

  • Basic knowledge of penetration testing or ethical hacking frameworks.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Education: UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

  • Experience: Fresher / Entry-Level (Ideal for recent graduates).

  • Location: Gurugram, Haryana (In-Person).
