Core Responsibilities & Workflow

In this role, you will be mentored by senior data scientists to master the end-to-end data lifecycle:

  • Data Engineering & Preprocessing: Executing the collection, cleaning, and structural normalization of both structured and unstructured data.

  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Utilizing statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business strategy.

  • Predictive Modeling: Assisting in the design, building, and rigorous evaluation of classification and regression models.

  • Data Visualization: Synthesizing complex findings into intuitive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Pythonic libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with business units to translate data requirements into technical solutions.

  • Knowledge Management: Maintaining meticulous documentation of workflows, experimental methodologies, and analytical findings.

Technical Competencies & Skills

Foundational Requirements:

  • Programming: Foundational knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.

  • Mathematics: A strong grasp of Statistics, Probability, and core Machine Learning algorithms.

  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and querying.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

Professional Attributes:

  • Communication: Ability to present technical insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
