The
Summer 2026 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed
for qualified students to gain hands-on experience while learning about
the media and entertainment industry. We are seeking an intern to join
the Data and Research team this summer.
This
intern will help support two teams within the department. The data
analytics team, which is focused on driving data- informed decision
making across the company, as well as the insights team which is focused
on delivering thought leadership and data-driven audience and content
stories to our advertisers. We have a phenomenal team made up of fun
accomplished individuals with diverse backgrounds and we’re excited to
potentially have you join us.
This is a part-time Hybrid position for Summer 2026.
As a member of the team you will:
- Support reporting, data visualization and presentation building around music video viewership trends and content engagement
- Work with internal teams across Sales, Business Development, Ad Operations, etc. to identify new ad product solutions and business opportunities to meet client needs
- Support the team on various data analytics, market research, and insights projects that position music videos at the center of culture and trending moments
- Translate complex analysis into concise stories for internal stakeholders and clients explaining the “why” behind audience viewing patterns.
- Exploring AI tools to automate data workflows
This describes you:
- Strong interest in the music and advertising industry
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
- Knowledge of SQL, data structures, and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of Python, particularly for data manipulation and some basic statistical model building
- Excellent communication skills, both written, oral, and through visual presentations
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strategic thinker with an ability to identify trends and make insightful recommendations
- Ability to learn how to use new tools/applications and interpret data sets
- Eager to work in BI tools to help build data insights and analysis
Requirements:
- Rising Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Desire to pursue a career in the media industry
- 30 hours per week June 8th - July 31, 2026
The
pay range for this position is $20 per hour. Please note that the
foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated
with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City
Transparency Law.
This part-time, hybrid position requires interns to work on-site at least three times per week.
